About Jill
I grew up in a small town in New Jersey with a loving mom, dad and older sister. In the summer I spent most of my vacation at the beach or relaxing at my grandpa's shore home. I have fond memories of playing wiffle ball with my cousins, winning goldfish on the boardwalk and barbecuing in the backyard. Family time was always a priority. Even now my family still gets together for a spirited game of Uno or a rousing backyard croquet tournament. I moved to Maryland after completing my BS Degree at Trenton State College to pursue my MS Degree in Speech Pathology at Loyola College. I have spent my entire career working with children...from as young as 24 months to as young as 17 years!! Kids have a special place in my heart. I've learned so much from them! Education has always been a priority for me. I have always enjoyed learning new things..maybe it's not just a coincidence that I work in an elementary school. My "I can do that" attitude has afforded me many opportunities: competing in regional public speaking competitions, taking karate, performing with the Baltimore Symphony Chorus, playing piano, and performing with the Silver Eagle Cloggers. Traveling is another one of my hobbies. I've traveled through parts of North America, Europe and Asia. Moving to Maryland has been a wonderful experience not only because of the friends I've made but because I met my Chuck here. By our second date I knew Chuck and I had a future together. Each day only gets better and better. Chuck makes my life so easy and I take extra special care of him too. He is a loving husband and will be a terrific dad. I know how much he is looking forward to being a father.
My life is grounded in a strong faith in God. Attending church is important to me. God has given me this opportunity to grow through our adoption and fulfill my greatest desire..to be a mother. But every child needs to feel loved. So through my church I have sponsored a child overseas, participated in the Angel Tree Project and Shoebox Ministries providing presents for children who might otherwise not have a Christmas. I have been so blessed with a wonderful husband, family, friends, excellent health and an exciting career. I want to share my blessings and love with the most precious gift of all. a child. I know this is a full time occupation and I have been preparing for this moment all of my life. God has created many opportunities for Chuck and I to grow in our marriage and in ourselves. We gratefully watch his plan for us unfold. Sincerely, JILL :>) |
