Rachel about Chuck:

Chuck is a wonderful husband. He is also the best daddy ever. Chuck was born in Memphis and moved to the Tennessee countryside when he was 10 after his parents’ divorce. He has two brothers and two half-brothers on his dad’s side. One brother lives a couple of streets over from our house with his wife and two sons. The other brother lives in Huntsville, Alabama with his wife and three sons. Chuck’s half brothers are also married with children. We have a total of seven nephews and one niece. Chuck’s dad passed away recently, but he gets along really well with his step-dad. The whole family gets together for holidays and it’s a lot of fun watching all these kids running around and opening presents. Chuck works for Federal Express, the biggest Memphis-based company, in their international Division. He attended the University of Memphis. Chuck is very hard-working, he loves cross-words, football, base-ball, and gardening. He plays with Sophie a lot and is looking forward to playing ball and Frisbee with our dog Maya, Sophie, and the new baby when he/she is big enough!

Chuck about Rachel:

Rachel is a highly intelligent and caring person. She was born and raised in France. She first came to the United States to work for a year as a nanny after finishing her undergraduate studies in Europe. She then went back to college to get her MBA from the University of Alabama. She is now a Materials Manager for a small company and loves her job. Rachel is an only child, but grew up with her cousins and is very close to them. All of her family still lives in France. Her mom and step-dad, who cannot wait for their second grand-child, live in a big six-bedroom house on the French Riviera. Rachel’s dad passed away when she was 13, which made her take on more responsibilities at an early age. Of course we love going to Europe to spend time with our family, and experience all the excellent food, and great weather! We are looking forward to bringing our new child to meet all the French relatives. Rachel loves traveling to anywhere to discover new places and meet new people. She enjoys reading, swimming, and taking walks in the neighborhood. She also likes to cuddle up with Sophie and read books to her.
