More About Us We
live in Albany,
Indiana. Albany is a small town
about 15 miles from Muncie, Indiana,
which features Ball State University, a fantastic Children's Museum, and
Prarie Creek Reservoir. Albany is a great place to raise a family.
It is a safe, close-knit community where we all look out for each other.
We have a spacious home with a large yard that is the gathering place
for the neighborhood.
We
are very close to our extended families. Most of Craig's family
lives within a few blocks of us. We both come from large families
and enjoy the chaos that accompanies large gatherings, like birthday parties
and 4th of July picnics. We like the security that a large, close
family has. With large families, reliable baby-sitters are never
hard to find.
We
love to spend time together. It could be an outing to a car show,
a trip to the grocery or a bike ride to the park. We also enjoy
our family vacation to Jill's Dad's house located in the Smoky Mountains
of Tennessee. We spend the week boating, tubing and swimming at
the lake. There are afternoons spent hiking through the mountains
exploring nature. A trip is not complete without a visit to Dollywood
Theme Park. That is Alex's favorite part! Every day ends with a
Rootbeer Float with Grandpa! We also enjoy going to Craig's parent's
cottage at the lakes in Northern Indiana. The most important part
is just being together and having fun! The whole family is eagerly
waiting for a new baby to dote on and spoil!
EDUCATION: We
met at Ball State University while we were both finishing up our Bachelor's
Degrees. Education is a priority in our family. We will stress
to our children to always do their best. We have personally seen
the rewards of a good education, and we know the world of opportunities
that an education can open up for our children.
