I dream of being a "Mommy". I love children and have often spent time with my friends' kids. My earliest jobs were in childcare, first babysitting, and then working in a nursery. Now I would like to spend those energies on a child of our own. I long to sing lullabies and play pattycake, plan Easter eggs hunts, accompany "trick or treating" and help decorate the tree at Christmas. But most of all, I long to provide the love, comfort and understanding a child's needs throughout the year, for all the years to come.

I enjoy spending time with children and very much want to be a Daddy. At parties I am often found surrounded by children either playing their games or reading stories. I am glad my job allows me time to spend with my family. I spent my childhood romping around a mountain in Virginia and I plan on taking walks in the woods with our son or daughter and sharing the wonders of nature. I can't wait to teach our child to ride a bike or climb a tree. I want to share the joy of playing, whether on land or water.

Family:

We have family spread out all over the place ! Visits with family include annual trips to Florida , and occasionally the Southwest, the Northeast, and the West Coast. Our relatives are very excited about our adoption plans and welcome our addition to the family. Several members of our extended family joined us through adoption. The family is constantly growing and our child can look forward to lots of cousins with which to play.
