Our extended Family: We have a very large family. Including both sides, we have about 45 family members living within 12 miles of each other. We are all very close. Pam’s parents live five miles from us and Joel’s parents live seven. We see our parents a few times a week. Joel has one brother and one sister. Pam has one sister. There are numerous cousins, aunts, uncles as well as two Great-grandmothers and one Great-great grandmother! We love getting together for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, July 4th, birthdays, and cookouts in the summer. Holidays are a big deal in our family. We love to decorate the house for any occasion. Family is very important to us.

Our Faith: We are Christians and belong to a local Baptist Church. Joel’s dad is the Associate Pastor and Minister of Christian Education. Both of our families attend church with us. There are numerous children’s programs and activities. We are very active in our church. Our faith is our foundation for life.
