First we'd like to express our admiration for your courage and strength to make adoption plans for your baby. Considering adoption as the best way to care for your baby at this time in your life demonstrates your foresight and love for this child. We know this is a difficult time for you and the decisions you face are huge. We hope when you read this letter, you get a better understanding of who we are and consider us as your choice of adoptive parents.

We met seven years ago and immediately fell in love, got married, and have since been very happy and secure. It has always been our dream to raise a family and we would like our family to grow through adoption. We wish to adopt because of our strong desire to nurture, love, and guide our child into a fulfilling and rewarding life. We are committed to giving a child happy and positive experiences with many opportunities to grow and learn.

We enjoy doing just about everything together because we're best friends. We balance our lives together where Mike works and loves his job and I make our house a home and enjoy the domestic life. Mike is a professional in financial management and I spend time gardening, cooking, visiting friends, and engaging in artful activities. We enjoy many outdoor activities together including nature walks, gardening, biking, hiking, birding, jet-skiing, and playing in the snow. Our indoor activities include cooking, reading, experimenting with the computer, watching movies, racquetball, playing the piano, and having friends and family over to visit. Also, we are both animal lovers and supporters of our environment.

Our neighborhood is very child friendly with terrific neighbors and beautiful parks nearby. Although this area has a country feel, its very close to shopping and other conveniences. We love taking neighborhood walks and visiting the horses and friendly pets. Everyone knows each other on our block and is very friendly.

Our house has often been described as something out of a storybook. It's surrounded by gardens and songbirds and the backyard is enclosed with a fence and trellised gates covered with flowered vines. Inside, our home is cozy and extends a very warm feeling. Margie is an avid bear collector and this adds to the theme of our home. The nursery theme is bunny rabbits, teddy bears and various friendly nature characters to build on the theme of our love for animals. Outside the nursery window, song birds often will perch and look inside to check things out.

Our families live nearby and would cherish a new child to love. We are truly thankful for their encouragement and support as we have pursued our choice to adopt. This child would grow up with positive love and support from our extended family as well.

With our wide array of interests, we are committed to giving our child happy and positive experiences with many opportunities to grow and learn. We will provide a loving, open and honest relationship with the child, filled with hugs, storytelling, nature, make believe, humor and sensitive direction.
