More About Us
We
have a small spaniel, Buster, 6, who has graduated basic obedience school
with flying colors! He is loving and gentle, and a lot of fun to be with.
Joey will play catch and blow bubbles with Buster for hours on end, and
we all enjoy family walks around the neighborhood whenever we can! We
also enjoy watching our large salt-water aquarium, which is Tom's pride
and joy.
Our neighborhood is an 8 year old development, 5 miles from
the beach. Our neighbors are mostly around our age, and there are children
in at least every other house on our block. We are friendly with our neighbors,
sharing Block Parties with them in the summer, and Winter Hayrides in
December, scouting to see who has the best decorations! Our neighbors
across the street are the adoptive parents of two children, and have shared
with us their joys of adopting. We are so excited to continue creating
a family in this way!
We'd
like to raise our children in the Catholic faith - we are both active
in our parish, and we believe that the church serves as an important part
of our community. In addition to our faith, our heritage is also important
to us: Tom is Irish and Chris is Italian, and we want our children to
know their heritage, too. This is why we have chosen open adoption. It's
important to us that our child knows you and your family, to share the
special traditions and cultures from which they came. We hope to have
an open relationship with you through the years.
