About Us

We have known each other for four wonderful years. It was love at first sight. Both of us always wanted children and shared so many other interests that it was not long before we were married. We soon realized we were unable to have children and chose adoption to fulfill our dreams of a family. We can’t wait to be parents and look forward to bedtime stories and lullabies. We hope that it is your child that we are fortunate enough to raise.

Kathy is originally from the tri-city area and has a large family here. She is a special education teacher and has taught for several years. She has two Masters Degrees and has teaching certificates in four areas including elementary education. She is very good at working with children and prays everyday to have a child to love and parent. She has a keen eye for decorating and the Fall and Winter Holidays are especially important to her. She enjoys decorating the entire house during the holidays and always goes all out in doing so. Kathy is very athletic and was on her school’s tennis and basketball team. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe and South America.

Mark is from central New York. He went to school at SUNY at Albany and stayed in the area after graduating. He has a degree in Medical Technology and two Masters of Science degrees. He currently is the manager of the laboratory computer system at a local area hospital. When he is not working on his computer, he enjoys building things. It was Mark who finished the basement as well as built our deck. He comes from a large family and is the oldest of five children. All his siblings have children. Mark feels now that he has Kathy in his life, the only thing missing is a child to raise.
