About Todd, by Michelle...
Todd is one of the most remarkable people I know.  He is a giving, loving, passionate kind of person.  He is level headed, yet extremely funny.  In his free time, Todd likes to play basketball and softball as well as to run fish and hunt.  He is a wonderful father and he spends hours playing with our two children.  Todd really enjoys his job as an airline Captain and although he is out of town three days a week flying, he is home the other four, so we have lots of time to spend together as a family.

About Michelle, by Todd...
Michelle is a loving mother and beautiful wife.  She had been employed in her chosen field of psychology, but receives much greater satisfaction from being a stay-home mom.  Michelle teaches a children’s class on Wednesday nights, sings in the choir and in the summer teaches at Vacation Bible School.  Michelle is extremely kind, creative and nurturing.  She is always smiling and praising Zach and Gabby.  In her spare time, Michelle loves to swim, sew, read, and experiment with new recipes.

About Zach...
Zachary is our 8-year-old son.  He is a smart, sometimes silly, and loving child.  Zach enjoys soccer, basketball, reading, and playing with his friends.  He is very excited about being a big brother again and he prays about it every night.

About Gabrielle...
Gabrielle is our four year old daughter that we were blessed to adopt shortly after her birth.  She is smart, funny and sooo energetic.  Brie loves to play soccer, be outside and dig in the sandbox.  She can’t wait to be a big sister

About Our Pets...
We have two sweet dogs that are very active.  Blueberry is a little black beagle mixture and Zoe is a big yellow lab.  They are very loving and protective toward the kids.

Our Church...
We regularly attend a large Baptist church near our home.  It has a large, active children’s program, with many special activities.  Our kids love to go and have many friends there.

About our Home...
We live in a large five-bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood in Alabama.  Our home has a huge playroom with tons of toys, books, and games.  Our home is a favorite among the kid’s friends.  It is not unusual to find us dancing around the living room or singing in the kitchen.  The nursery is decorated with handmade Noah’s Ark bedding and stuffed animals.  It is ready and waiting for the child that needs us as much as we need them.

We have a huge backyard with a big wooden swing-set, a playhouse, and a sandbox.  Between Todd grilling outside and Michelle cooking inside, there are always amazing smells coming from our house, whether it is homemade bread, BBQ, lasagna or good old-fashioned apple pie.

In Closing...
We are pursuing adoption because we truly feel that it is God’s direction for our lives.  We are committed to providing the very best home we can for your child and to love, respect, nurture, educate and protect them.  Truth, respect and trust are very important to us and we will be honest and open with your child about how they became part of our family.  They will know it was a tremendous love for them that led you to choose adoption.  We hope this has given you a glimpse of who we are and what we are about.  We would be happy to keep in touch through e-mails or letters.
