About Us

Troy is a Lieutenant with the University of Minnesota Police department, he has been with them for nine years. He is very active in the community, working with the Minnesota Special Olympics and a community based Restorative Justice Program. He enjoys fishing at the cabin, being outdoors, sports and family adventures.

Felicia works for Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy, she works with the youth in the community as a part of the Police Athletic League. She likes Family time, working out, hiking, biking , swimming, going out to eat and shopping. We have a large mixed group of close knit friends and extended family made up of other police officers, a computer genius, other adoptive parents, musicians, actors, construction workers..you name it.

We both come from large Catholic families. Felicia has a sister that lives in Australia, 3 Brothers that live in Minnesota, and one Sister that lives in Wisconsin. There are many cousins, Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles.

All of our Family and Friends are excited and looking forward to a new member joining our family! We do lots of things together as a group such as; theme parties, sliding and ice skating in the winter, boating, fishing, campfires and swimming in the summer. All of the kids have a Blast together!

We have a lot of family traditions we do together such as: the annual “snipe hunt” at the cabin. We have Pecan Waffles every Christmas morning, with plenty of warm syrup and melted butter. We do a silly Family Christmas picture every year and we all take turns picking the theme.

Nick is extremely excited about being a “Big Brother” and even though Tiara goes to college in New York she is equally excited about the adoption!
