More About Us
We have been married for 7 plus years. A mutual friend introduced us through a phone conversation and we hit it off. The first thing that attracted us to one another was our ability to talk; and TALK we did! We lived in separate towns, about one hour a part, so getting to know each other was largely by phone conversations. We dated for a year and a half and got married on December31, 1999.

Virgil
Virgil is the second child of four. He has three brothers and one sister. Virgil was born in Illinois and spent most of his growing up years in Texas. Shortly after graduating from high school he joined the Army, which brought him to Kansas. He was sent to the Desert Storm war the last four months of his Army career. Virgil has educated himself in the construction, heating and cooling, plumbing and mechanical field. He truly enjoys his work and is very successful. Virgil is a “hands-on” Dad. He loves spending time with the boys; fishing, wrestling, reading to them (mainly Toby), helping with Trey’s homework ~~ and just hanging out.
Trudi
Trudi has one older sister. She was born and raised in a small town in Kansas, the town we currently make our home. Trudi was a cosmetologist for several years before meeting and getting married to Virgil; she now stays home (and LOVES it!). She enjoys the freedom to be with the boys and be their primary care-giver. Trudi enjoys “girly” things, getting a pedicure, going for a massage and shopping with a girlfriend or two. She finds any excuse to make the 30 minute drive to enjoy a Chai Tea Latte at Starbucks! All three of her “guys” keep her busy and she cherishes her time with them.
Our Boys
We find our pleasure living a simple yet active life. Trey is impatiently awaiting his 14th birthday ~~ the drivers license! He is not our sports boy but enjoys the outdoors. Trey can be found at one of our two ponds; fishing! He has found that he likes to make a little money; he has a very part-time job working at our friend’s auto body shop. Trey spends his free time playing his play-station 2, watching movies, talking on his cell phone or sending text messages to his friends, swimming at our local swimming pool or attending the local football and basketball games. He is an awesome big brother and truly is crazy about Toby. Toby is our very active 2 year old! He is ALL boy!!! Our lives are greatly blessed with him. Toby has fun doing everything. He spends his time playing outside, playing with his cars, he loves being read to and his new thing is drawing (or rather someone drawing him a picture of a “voom-voom” (a motorcycle). His vocabulary is growing leaps and bounds with his main words being, “ride voom-voom”; he is absolutely crazy about getting a ride on Trey’s motorcycle.
