Why we do this...

Adoptive Parents: The Reason we do this is to offer the opportunity for others to know the joy we know. My wife and I set upon the course of Open Adoption in 1999. In December of that year we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy. We have known no greater joy in our lives.

I want to thank you for letting us be listed on your site. We got several leads and we are still in contact with one young lady's mother who decided to keep her infant.

The best news however is that we have taken home a baby boy, Timothy Jared, the end on February. His birthmother found us on the web.... It was like winning the lottery after waiting at our agency for three years with no luck.

I wish we had tried the internet two years ago. Amber, our birthmother, was only 14 years old but we spent a three days in the Hospital with her and her family and I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Sorry I did not write sooner...but I am happy and tired and I am not getting much done around here these days.

In addition, I made friends with Margie. I hooked up with her from your site. We were each other's support e-mail person through this difficult time. I wish to thank you for that also. Thank you again for all of your help. I think it is a wonderful thing you are doing for adoptive hopeful parents.
