More About Us

Our house and property are a wonderful spot and we have lots of summer barbecues with our friends and their kids who enjoy being able to run around and play on the grass.

We share our home with Oscar, a miniature daschund that Donna has had since she lived in California. He's a real sweetie and goes almost everywhere with us.

Donna and James are the "honorary" aunt and uncle of Donna's college roommate's twin daughters. They love asking Uncle Jim if he gets to stop for lunch when he's fighting a fire, or if he's ever nervous on the big ladder! They know Auntie Donna will always watch the new things they've learned in dance class!

We've traveled in the US and in Europe and love to find historic places or new restaurants. At home, Donna's wall and furniture painting skills are well known. She has even painted rooms in other family's homes! When she's not painting, James has put her in search of the best chocolate chip cookie recipe and has made himself the "official tester"!

We hope we sound like the kind of parents and family that you would want for your child. We want you to know that your baby would always be loved, respected and cherished. We both grew up in families where children were treated as valuable, important people and we've always remembered that feeling and have wanted so much to share it with our own child. We're committed to giving a child the homes we had, with two loving parents, a comfortable house and the attention and adoration of family and friends. We are a couple that balances work and fun and seriousness and laughter. We'd love to have a child to share all those moments with.
